Explore Edmonton: Your Guide to Summer Events in the City (2023)

Hello Summer in Edmonton! You are so glorious.

The city sure shines during these summer months, with the endless hours of daylight, patios and so many events and festivals happening each week it’s so hard to decide what to do (a great problem to have!) It also gets hot—so staying hydrated is a pretty big part of summer too.

Did you know: Edmonton is home to some of the best tap water in North America? That’s my preferred hot summer day, thirst quenching drink of choice and I’ve partnered with EPCOR to share how you can easily enjoy a “Glass of the Sask” this summer—in particular, at a number of big city festivals and community events taking place over the next few months (2023).

The Glass of the Sask is meant to be a celebration of all things local (including our local, award-winning tap water). That’s why you’ll find EPCOR out supporting a lot of different community events with their water tanks and hydration stations!!

Bring a reusable bottle and fill up with EPCOR's water tanks / hydration stations at community events throughout the summer!
Below, I’ve highlighted a bunch of summer events in the city including noting ones where you can find EPCOR water tanks + hydration stations!

Bring your own water bottle to fill up during these hot summer days. It’s not only better for the environment, but it also saves you money and you get a real thirst-quencher out of it—for free!

Note: for the purpose of this event guide, “summer” is July, August and September.

I included some July events that have passed as of this blog publication just in case you’re looking at later years, the events are likely still recurring then so the guide will hopefully still be of use to you just check for updated dates for the current year lol.
