No winter in Edmonton (at least in the last few years) is complete without a visit to the Ice Castles!
This icy, winter wonderland is a sight to behold—and the ultimate, Instagrammable spot during the winter season. Available in only 6 cities in the world, the Ice Castles, which are about an acre-big, is built with icicles and water and features ice slides, ice thrones, ice fountains and colourful ice displays.
You get a different vibe whether you’re visiting during the day or night. I make a point to go both times!
