Today’s Photo of the Day is a piece of artwork that my dad had made to be hung in my parent’s home. It shows the refugee boat that my dad and uncle built back in Vietnam – for our families to escape the country, which had come under rule by communists.

The caption on the bottom says “We journey to find freedom” (well, it actually says “We journey to finding for freedom” which is grammatically incorrect. My dad didn’t ask me to proofread it before he asked his friend to make it, lol).
