This Week: Q&A with Sarah Keller
Every other Sunday, I profile a new “interesting person” in a Q&A series just for paid newsletter subscribers. The next person I’ll be profiling this Sunday, Oct. 1, 2023 is Sarah Keller, the founder of Sit Stay Squat (a Canine Conditioning, Feline Fitness, and Pet Massage expert).
Here’s an except from the Q&A:
“I think a lot of people are surprised that my line of work even exists haha! I also think there’s a misconception as to just how much analytical work goes into creating an exercise program tailored to a specific concern. It’s so much more than just recommending an exercise. My work involves carefully observing joint alignment, what muscles appear tight/weak, movement inefficiencies etc, which starts the base of what I hope to improve/achieve with the client. From there I implement progressive, alignment-based exercises, which then need to be taught to the animal in a way that is easy for them to understand and makes them happy to participate with us. There’s a lot of animal training involved in implementing the exercises!”
– Sarah Keller
As a bonus: Sarah is offering subscribers 10% off any in-person or online Sit Stay Squat service. Just email and mention LINDORK10 to redeem.
