I partnered with the Edmonton Fall Home Show to preview a couple of restaurants with chefs presenting at the Cooking Stage. I made stops at Ikki Izakaya (Chef Ayumi Yuda is presenting), and Vivo Ristorante (Chef Medi Tabtoub is presenting) and loved both experiences.
Ikki’s Happy Hour specials are great (50 cent Takoyakis and $1 Yakitori) and their regular menu items are also super affordable ($5 to about $14). Vivo’s homemade pasta is fantastic, and their focaccia bread comes with the best olive oil.
There’s so many great local chefs sharing their expertise at the Edmonton Fall Home Show Food Stage this weekend, be sure to head over to the Expo to check it out (and also check out the restaurants!!)
