NAIT NewsWatch – Hula Hoop Fitness – Entertainment Feature Package!
Along with our positions for NAIT NewsWatch this semester, we also had to do two features – an Entertainment Feature and a News Feature. The features are for our own experience, but also for our NAIT NewsWatch “Extra” shows – which are shows filled entirely by our features and not the news-of-the-week.
This meant I was in charge of:
– Reporting/voicing/writing the Feature
– Shooting/editing/packaging the Feature
Here is my News Feature on how Hula Hoops and a loving husband helped an Edmonton woman battle obesity! This aired on Dec. 18! * This also won the Fall 2010 NAIT Radio & Television Star Award for Best Television Videography 3rd Semester!! *
I really loved this story! I loved working with Dreena and her husband and I loved the final product I was proud of my work. Dreena and her family/friends loved it and it’s probably one of the pieces I am most proud of having done this semester at NAIT!
