At least 12 deaths in Western Canada have been linked to the toxic chemical paramethoxymethamphetamine (PMMA). In recent months seven people have died in Calgary, five in B.C. The dangerous chemical is being added to ecstasy. Alberta Health Services took their warnings to Twitter on Feb 3, 2012.
