Christmas is just around the corner and you know what that means?!
The return of the Edmonton Singing Christmas Tree!
There are a lot of great, holiday events in our city each year – but the Edmonton Singing Christmas Tree has to be one of the most festive and fun!
Imagine a stage decorated with whimsy, a 35-foot singing Christmas tree, and an audience in wonder!
The Edmonton Singing Christmas Tree is a show unlike any other – dancing santas, ballerinas, acrobats, singers (including the 150 singers who make up the 35-foot singing Christmas tree!), and a live orchestra!
I’ve been twice over the last few years and have absolutely loved it.
What a stunning set!
Not only are the performances incredible, but all net proceeds from the Edmonton Singing Christmas Tree goes to help local charities.
Over the years, the event has raised more than $600,000 for important charities including Santa’s Anonymous, the Christmas Bureau, the Edmonton Food Bank and the Edmonton Public School Foundation.
Incredibly talented musicians perform at the Edmonton Singing Christmas Tree.
The Edmonton Singing Christmas Tree will have you feeling inspired, in awe, and completely in the holiday spirit.
Tickets for the Edmonton Singing Christmas Tree range from $25 up to $85 (see seats and buy tickets here).
The all-ages show, which runs Dec 14-17, 2017 at the Northern Jubilee Auditorium, typically sells out, so you’ll want to get your tickets soon!
I’m excited the John Cameron Entertainment group, which puts on the show, has invited me to this year’s event and given me a pair of tickets to give away for their final show at on Dec. 17!
Get your tickets quick before this annual holiday tradition sells out.

My favourite part of the holiday season is seeing it through the eyes of my kids. They are so excited about everything! They scream with joy seeing Santa on TV, are so excited to see any chistmas lights, and are delighted by anything holiday-related.
My favourite part of the holidays is the special meals with friends and family; everyone puts that extra effort to make the food special.
The part of the holiday season I look forward to is getting together with friends and family and enjoying each others company, of course, all the delicious Christmas baking and warm beverages are an added bonus!

I love just relaxing and spending time with family and friends!
We love seeing Christmas lights- in the city, out in the country. They look so beautiful and really brighten up the winter nights.
My favourite part of the holidays is seeing all my family that I don’t see often!
My favourite part of the holidays is reflecting on the year and taking the chance to do something selfless before the year ends. Christmas music always helps to get that started, especially the line in Happy Xmas (War is Over), “So this is Christmas, and what have you done.”
The holidays for me are all about music and lights. I’ve always wanted to attend this event but haven’t yet had the chance. Thank you for the great giveaway!
I love getting to see my family over the holiday. We all get busy with our own lives but always find the time to get together for holiday meals. But my favourite part of the holiday season is the time I get to spend with my wife. Time off work allows us extra date nights and the season provides excuses to surprise and treat eachother and generally make her feel special.
My favorite part of the holidays is seeing all my family get together and celebrate! We stuff our faces with food and there’s always so much laughter. ♡
My favourite part is all the winter festivals and activities!
My favorite part of the season is spending time with family in pure joy. There isn’t a happier moment than when all of us gather to talk, laugh, and just be around one another. The memories they make last a lifetime
My favourite part of the season is coming together with everyone I love. Everyone is so busy all throughout the year, but it seems like every one makes time to spend it with one another during the holiday season. Oh.. and all of the TREATS!!
It is my time to give back to those who don’t have an awesome family or a home etc. I like to buy toys for kids who otherwise wouldn’t have a Christmas. And donate hampers to those less fortunate.
My favourite part of the holidays is listening to Christmas music. My dad sang in 3 choirs when I was young , so Christmas always involved a lot singing.
My favorite part of the holidays is how we make a family Christmas video each year!
My favorite part of the holiday season is decorating the house and spending time with family!
I still believe in Santa!
One of my favourite things about the holiday is doing stocking stuffers with the family and fill it to the brim on as little as $20. We have one for our dog Koda as well!
My favouite part is the smells of Christmas…the Christmas tree, hot spiced cider and gingerbread cookies baking! MMmmmm…

Great christmas lights on Edmonton
My favourite part is family coming together in one city and seeing the family starting to grow in size. The house smells delicious and feels warm. Love the songs playing on the record player and the memories of Christmases past.
My favourite part of the holidays is finally having time to reconnect with friends and family. Nursing at Gmac is so busy and stressful, the winter holidays give me a chance to catch my breath and catch up with everyone.
Looking forward to spending Christmas festivities with my family and our new born grandson. Merry Christmas!
