Mike and I have come to really look forward to April each year, when we make our way down to Calgary for the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo. It also makes for a great opportunity to visit our friends Kathy & Ryan, and get some Calgary eats in our bellies. (I love Calgary eats!)
Some of our favourite parts of the Calgary Expo include browsing all of the vendors, seeing all the awesome cosplay, watching some live video game competitions, and checking out the celebrity panels. This year we were especially looking forward to the Expo because of one particular guest star: Peter Capaldi a.k.a. The Doctor on BBC’s Doctor Who! Eep. His panel was fantastic (see my tweets here) and we were thrilled to get a photo with him too.
