About the Author.

Linda Hoang (@lindork) is a Canadian writer, content creator and social media specialist with a journalism background based in Edmonton, Alberta.

She writes, photographs, and films travel, food, lifestyle and family topics. She is also the founder of the annual Edmonton International Cat Festival, Canada’s biggest and longest-running cat festival.

A vocal advocate for infertility awareness, it took nearly a decade for Linda and her husband Mike to conceive their Miracle Baby Benjimin.

This infertility journey, the many stories Linda heard from others who struggled to conceive, and the gap in children’s books that address the many different paths to parenthood, inspired Miracle Baby, You’re Finally Here!

About the Illustrator.

Magdalena Duran Castillo (@nenalanddesigns) is a Latin Graphic Designer and children’s book illustrator with 31 years of experience. She is driven by passion and purpose.

Born in Mexico and now residing in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, her mission is to infuse every artwork with beauty, inspiration, and joy, spreading positivity and warmth in people’s lives.

Nena’s art is a reflection of her soul, and she hopes it resonates with others, evoking happiness and good emotions every time they behold it.

When approached by Linda about illustrating ‘Miracle Baby, You’re Finally Here!, Nena felt an instant connection to the project. Infertility is a sensitive topic, yet one that resonates deeply with her, having personally navigated the challenges and emotions of it with her husband. Miracle Baby, You’re Finally Here! beautifully encapsulates the struggles and triumphs, and Nena is honoured to bring it to life through her illustrations.
