Check out All is Bright holiday light-up on 124 Street (124 St., 07-109 Ave.)

I’m also partnering with Edmonton Mural Festival to host a mural + food tour along 124 Street on Nov. 16 to coincide with + celebrate All is Bright! The tour runs 5-6:30 p.m. so experience the rest of All is Bright before + after.
There are also a few other light ups / holiday kick-offs happening this week but obviously I would love if you came to 124 Streets! 😉 I’m still sharing few for your reference: Sherwood Park’s Celebration of Lights, Leduc’s Light up in the Park, and the The Kingsway Holiday Parade.

Additional items are $3.50 each (you can add a max three more items to the bowl). They also have a selection of appetizers, not build-your-own soups, clay pot rice dishes and congee.

New on the Blog
If you’re looking for recommendations on plant-based Vegetarian and Vegan eating options in Edmonton, I’ve invited local vegetarian + vegan eating enthusiasts Kassia and Erin of “VeginYEG” to guest blog an Ultimate Guide to Plant-Based, Vegetarian & Vegan Eating in Edmonton!
The city has some incredible vegan and vegetarian restaurants and dishes but they can be hard to find, especially if you’re newer to the city or new to plant-based eating. This is a topic that I regularly get questions about and I’m thrilled to be able to share Kassia and Erin’s new resource on my blog. Bookmark, share, and reference this list!
And follow Kassia & Erin on Instagram @VegInYeg.

This weeks’ Small Business Spotlight is from subscriber Stephanie, who wanted to shout out to Urban Art Studio 101! Stephanie writes:
“I recently started taking art classes at Urban Art Studio 101 and have been having a fantastic time learning to draw. They are so flexible and affordable. They can teach you to do anything art related. They charge $60 per lesson (which is 1.5-2 hours long) and are super flexible to schedule (they’re open daily, so whenever I suggest a date to schedule, they’ve accommodated me). Because they’re newer, all of my lessons have been one-on-one, though if you wanted to do a group activity I’m sure they’d accommodate that. They also do free art days on Sundays and occasionally do special activities like date night paint nights with snacks. They also do a discount if you purchase multiple classes up front! I went from not being able to draw a glass to being able to sketch portraits in five classes, no joke. They’re great.” – Stephanie
Thanks for the recommendation Stephanie!! I hope subscribers will check out Urban Art Studio 101 (and I hope to try a class soon too).
