Eats to consider this week: boba milk cake, Middle Eastern eats, west Edmonton chocolate & coffee and more!
  • Warm up with some Chinese hot pot at 97 Hot Pot (10602 97 St. – Chinatown)

  • Try an interactive boba milk tea cake from Whyte House Cafe (10813 82 Ave.)

  • Taste some chocolate and coffee at ch. cafeteria (14802 Stony Plain Rd.)

    • I grabbed a ‘chocolate rice cake cookie’ from ch. cafeteria on Stony Plain Road this week and it was so tasty! ch. cafeteria is an awesome chocolate and coffee shop with a Mexican twist. They also offer brunch items now.

  • Order a Middle Eastern food platter from Jerusalem Shawarma (2213 101 St.)

    • My sister-in-law recently ordered a delicious BBQ tray from Middle Eastern eatery Jerusalem Shawarma in South Common and it was delicious! They also have an excellent garlic sauce to go with your meats, rice, and potatoes. Yum, yum, yum.

  • Say goodbye and support Ono Poke Co. one last time (10142 104 St.)

Ate something amazing recently? Want to show some love to a struggling restaurant? Have a take-out suggestion? Let me know to include in this newsletter.

Small Business Spotlight

I’ve been informed that April is National Oral Health Month so a suggested business to spotlight was District Dental, a full service, family dental practice located at 10220 103 Ave. in the Stantec Tower (downtown). District Dental focuses on prevention (regular hygiene prevents things like gum disease, bone loss, potential tooth loss). They also do dental implants, crowns, teeth whitening and more services. New patients get free teeth whitening or sleep apnea screening test. Shout out to District Dental and all local dentists and clinics this National Oral Health Month and just a general reminder to go get your teeth checked as you probably haven’t in awhile!
