I love partnering with tourism boards to help showcase what a region has to offer—even better when I get to be a tourist in my hometown and province!
If you’re planning a visit to Alberta, or across Alberta, the Travel Alberta – Ask an Albertan video series might be just what you’re looking for to help plan your trip!
I had so much working with Travel Alberta and videographer/editor Scott Bakken and Davey Lieske, and local experts Colleen Gara, Janis Galloway, Brittney Le Blanc, and Lori Andrews on these vlog-style travel videos.
Honestly we could have talked forever and forever / showcased tons and tons of things to do in Alberta but did our best to squeeze things down into a few minutes video, lol.

I’m sharing each of these ‘Ask an Albertan’ travel videos in their own blog post entry.
This post is: What should you eat in Alberta?
This video features Edmonton’s Brittney Le Blanc, an always in-the-community Edmonton advocate who tours us around popular neighbourhoods 124 Street, Whyte Ave and Downtown and shares some great places and types of food you should eat in Alberta. Although we filmed in Edmonton (at great spots: Duchess Bake Shop, Nongbu Korean Eatery, RGE RD and Baijiu, we also chat about other amazing restaurants across the province like Sidewalk Citizen Bakery, Charcut Roast House, Native Tongues, Anju and more!
Be sure to check out Travel Alberta for more travel recommendations too!
