I’m always on the lookout for good food deals so I’m a pretty big fan of Happy Hours. That’s why when The Rec Room asked if I would partner with them to spread the word about their new Happy Hour menu, I was happy to oblige!
Our Happy Hour spread at The Rec Room!
Happy Hour just launched at The Rec Room on Monday (July 16, 2018).
The menu is available from 3-6 p.m. weekdays, where selected drinks and appetizers are just $6 or $7.
The menu includes beers, sangria, cocktails, and my favourite—snack size bites!
Beer
- Bud or Bud Light (18 oz) – $6
- Goose Island IPA (18 oz) – $7
Sangria
- Classic Red Sangria (5 oz) – $6
- Pink Grapefruit (5 oz) – $6
Cocktails
- Canadian Mojito (1.5 oz) – $6
- Snow Bird Punch (1.5 oz) – $6
Snack Sized Bites
- Mac and Cheese – $6
- Caesar Salad – $6
- Mini Margherita Pizza – $6
- Poutine – $6
- Crispy Chicken Bites – $7
- Buffalo Chicken Bites – $7
Mike and I stopped by this week after work and were happy to feast on the Happy Hour deals!

We’ve been fans of The Rec Room since they opened in 2016 (originally in South Common, but now we go to our nearest one at West Edmonton Mall!) and have always found the food, drinks and games make for a fun night out.
Their new Happy Hour menu is a great addition to this.
Happy Hour Mac and Cheese!
I love the Mac and Cheese (super cheesy! and with a penne, so the bites are a bit bigger) and the Buffalo Chicken Bites (covered in blue cheese, which if there were ever two foods that go hand-in-hand, buffalo chicken and blue cheese are it).

Mike, lover of all things pizza, also devoured the Mini Margherita Pizza.
It’s wee in size but big in flavour!

Mike and I tried all but one of the food items (the Caesar salad, lol), plus a beer and a mojito, and our bill worked out to $22 per person.
Cheap date! We love it.

We got great food, prices, and service during our Happy Hour visit to The Rec Room West Edmonton Mall.
The new Happy Hour menu is available at both Edmonton locations.
Go give The Rec Room’s Happy Hour Menu a try!
And be sure to ask your server if they’ll consider a reverse Happy Hour time too (from 9 or 10 til close!)
