At least 12 deaths in Western Canada in recent months have been linked to the toxic chemical paramethoxymethamphetamine (PMMA). Seven people have died in Calgary, five in B.C. The dangerous chemical is being added to ecstasy. Alberta Health Services took their warnings about ecstasy (MDMA) and PMMA to Twitter on Feb 3, 2012.
