I didn’t do as many stories this past week because I actually got to do two paid editing shifts instead! Still I got a bunch of work done for the website including two web features that I’m particularly proud of :) (they are starred * in the links below)
Next week I’m supposed to be leaving web and dabbling in researching/making phone calls/setting up interviews/writing scripts for the show which is both exciting that I get to try some more new things but also sad because I’ve come to really love doing web work each week. I think (and have been told) I’ve been doing a really good job and I don’t want it to end!! So hopefully after the dabbling around in other things I will be back on the web soon!
Here’s some of the articles I wrote for the website during Week 6:
- Political tweets. February 17, 2011 *
- Dealing with domestic violence. February 17, 2011
- Laurie Blakeman will run for Liberal leadership. February 17, 2011
- Keillor House a forgotten piece of Edmonton’s history. February 17, 2011
- Motorcyclist wins case against noise ticket. February 17, 2011
- LRT ridership on the rise. February 16, 2011
- Hear from airport redevelopment design teams. February 15, 2011 *
- MLA Doug Griffiths joins leadership race. February 15, 2011
- Province opens 239 new hospital beds, on track for goal of 360. February 14, 2011
- Homeowners reminded to clear walks as city receives over 5,000 complaints this year. February 14, 2011
- Are fans still loyal to the Oil?. February 14, 2011
Also I’m not sure how much on this topic I should actually blog about it but there’s a job opportunity that’s opened up here and I have applied for it! Hoping I get it. That’s all I’ll say until I know or not! :) *crosses fingers*
Linda :)
