Photo of the Day: Wednesday, June 20, 2012

Today’s Photo of the Day shows the dinner we had tonight! We decided to have pulled pork sandwiches with salad, corn on the cob and chips.

Our “Southern”-themed dinner

The salad came from a pre-made salad kit from Safeway and it was called ‘Strawberry Fields’ with almonds and dried strawberries and a strawberry vinaigrette. It was way too sweet for Mike. Sweet for me too but I tried to eat a lot for healthy’s safe, lol. I slow-cooked the pork (using this super easy recipe) and it turned out pretty good. We maybe could have soaked it in more BBQ sauce. Corn on the cob was delicious and chips are always good. ;)
