Today’s Photo of the Day is another Recipe of the Day! I decided to make slow cooker beef roast. :)
Slow cooker roast with bell peppers.
I followed this recipe but with some slight modifications.
2 cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 package dry vegetable slow cooker soup mix
2 cups water
3 bell peppers
5 1/2 pounds pot roast (I think it was 5 1/2 pounds…)
In a slow cooker, mix cream of mushroom soup, soup mix, water, chopped bell peppers. Place roast in slow cooker and coat with soup mixture. Cook on high setting for 3 to 4 hours, or on low setting for 8 to 9 hours. You can add flour to the soup mixture before or afterwards to make it more gravy-textured.
Very simple. Very delicious. We had it with rice. Try it!
