Giveaway: Win tickets to the 2015 Mayor’s Celebration of the Arts!

I’m a big fan of the Edmonton food scene (obviously!) but I also love all the different #YEGarts, events, activities and what artists are doing in this great city.

Most recently, Mike and I purchased pieces from Edmonton artist Jason Blower!

New home decor from local artist Jason Blower!

I’ve also got my eye on Gloria Ho Illustration’s cat watercolours (which will also be sold at this year’s Edmonton International Cat Festival!)

There’s so many great artists here – from musicians to actors, artists like the two I just listed, writers, and more. And some of those incredibly talented artists will be honoured at the 28th Annual Mayor’s Celebration of the Arts taking place this coming Monday, April 20, 2015 at the Winspear Centre.

The annual celebration, which showcases the city’s vibrant arts and culture community, is a night of awards, performances, and tasty appetizers (if you’re still thinking about food like I always am ;)) Proceeds from the Mayor’s Celebration of the Arts go to support the Professional Arts Coalition of Edmonton! There’s a lot of incredible artists nominated this year (check out the list of nominees here). It was at the 2013 celebration when I was first exposed to singer Nuella Charles (what a voice!!) and there’s sure to be some fantastic performances at this year’s event.

Unfortunately this year’s celebration is on the same day as Mike’s birthday so we already had conflicting plans but I am excited that I’ve been given the opportunity to give away two pairs of tickets to the 28th Annual Mayor’s Celebration of the Arts to readers/followers!

And as a bonus: if you are not randomly selected to win the tickets to this wonderful event, I also have a 2 for 1 ticket price promo code to offer as well!
