Giveaway: Tickets to the 2014 Whyte Avenue Red Shoe Crawl!

Red Shoe Society Logo

Some of you may know I volunteer on the board for a non-profit organization called the Red Shoe Society. We support the families of the Ronald McDonald House by holding events and taking part in the Home For Dinner program. One of the signature events the society puts on is the Red Shoe Crawl. You may remember me tweeting about it in past years! It’s a great event where for the price of your ticket, you get a passport and then “crawl” a certain area to sample food and beverages from various locations. It’s a super fun, delicious day (especially when the weather is great!) and it supports a fantastic cause.

From the website:

Enjoy a variety of culinary delights and beverages from some of the best restaurants and shops along Whyte Avenue, all while supporting the families of the Ronald McDonald House Northern Alberta (RMHNA). In past years this event has raised $15,000 to support the families of the Ronald McDonald House!

The next Red Shoe Crawl is on Whyte Avenue/Old Strathcona and takes place next Sunday, June 8, 2014 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. (passport/registration from noon-1 p.m.). Tickets are only $45 and I’ve got a pair to give away!

I know that RMH gives families from out of town with sick children a place to stay. I’ve personally volunteered there before in making dinners for them – truly fun and amazing experience.
