Have you been enjoying the Edmonton Fringe Festival so far?! There’s still a week left to go and after you’re all Fringed out, I’m giving you the chance to celebrate the end of the festival at the End of the Fringe Comedy Gala taking place Saturday August 24 at Marquee Mansion (10304 111 Street)!

The event is hosted by Toronto-based comedian Wayne Jones (who also happens to eat at my parent’s restaurant and loves it! ;)) and features local comedians Lars Callieou and Danny Martinello. I’m also told they’re flying in out-of-town comedians for the show too! I’ve got one pair of tickets to give away for this sure-to-be-hilarious event.

How to win your way into the End of the Fringe Comedy Gala

The gala takes place Saturday, August 24. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. The show starts at 9:30 p.m.

To enter for a chance to win a pair of tickets to the event, leave a comment below telling me what makes you laugh. It can be a joke, something someone does, “funny cat pictures on the Internet”, whatever makes you laugh, let me know in the comment below to qualify! Include your name and email address so I know how to contact you.

Also include your Twitter account if you have one. I’ll use a random winner-generating tool to pick a winner from those who have left comments. You can also get your name entered into the mix a second time by tweeting out this sentence:

Good luck! :)

What makes me laugh is looking through old pictures of myself or those that I love and landing on hidden goofy gems that I forgot existed. Creative, out-dated poses always gets me :D <3

Sharing nostalgic memories with friends about awkward dates, terrible clothing mishaps and generally embarrassing (unintentional) public displays. Most recently for me, it was nonchalantly walking into a door at the lrt station while I was transfixed on my Blackberry.

All the awkward office situations that have so magnificently portrayed in the TV show “The Office”.

The thing that always makes me laugh is shows like”Wipeout” when people have bad falls. We’ve all had an embarrassing wipeout some time or another, that’s what makes it so great! :)

The British clips from A Bit of Fry and Laurie…..British comedians do dry humour like no one else! Especially the milk chalice, or the police station skits!
